Babya today announced that it will be launching its own digital magazine delivery system in response to several publishers launching one this week.
Unlike what Conde Nast, Hearst, Meredith, News Corp., and Time Inc. plan to do for their “Digital Storefront”-which could involve paid content, Babya plans to innovative by offering freely available content in easy to use formats for viewing on various devices.
Babya’s new “Digital Storefront” is going to be web based without any form of blocking out non-US users-meaning that it’s truely global unlike what Conde Nast, Hearst, Meredith, News Corp., and Time Inc. might do with theirs.
In addition, Babya’s “Digital Storefront” is likened to a Hulu “without US borders” (basically-freely accessible by non-US users).
Babya’s A.A. Fussy said, “”Digital Storefront”-let’s go one step ahead and offer something really innovative in 2010. Conde Nast, Hearst, Meredith, News Corp., and Time Inc. also plan one, but ours is worldwide accessible and will be free.”
Babya plans to release mores detail on their “Digital Storefront” in the months to come

Babya and other companies using our product names-here’s a extensive list:
Since I posted the list in 2008-it’s time an update:
Using our product names after we stopped using them ourselves:
OneVideo Technology kindly asked us to rename our iPod video conversion software, we chose to start “BabyaOne” and drop Babya OneVideo altogether
Broadcaster-formerly IMSI used iGrab as a one of it’s services name-unrelated to ours
Blurb’s successful book publishing product Booksmart-was the name of a Babya library management app
Names changed due requests by us:
Babya A soft drinks, in Queensland
bPlayer-name of a company’s product that we didn’t give permission to use our bplayer name in 2002, later Gerzonic using the name for a audio plugin to this day (we appreciate that fact). Eventually we chose bTunes as its successor
Names used by other companies but haven’t ask us to rename ours:
YouTube desktop:Google didn’t ask us to rename this product
Logic and mobile me:
Apple still hasn’t as of November2009 asked us to rename our Logic and Mobile Me software-even as Apple trademarked mobile me, they never requested us to stop using that name)
iTunes and bTunes-sounds confusing but again, Apple hasn’t prevented us from using bTunes.
Also atttempted to be trademarked by singer Beyonce this year (abandoned in April)
Completely unreleated to our business
companies calling themselves or mentioning Babya:IMVU,LBMS,Baby Alpaca to name a few
Jaguar (owned by Tata Motors)-E-Type their famous car, our free word processor
Baby Acapulco restaurant (babya.info)
Artist Zaza Babya
Baby A-yes, that’s a company based in Californa the one currently using babya.com
Tuja Babya-a video by a group of people from Uganda, Africa, we love that video so much:we gave them free use of our name, and no confusion ever so what since then.
She did three filings via a law firm-eg in these categories:
TUNES
Goods and Services

Lucikly and in our favor, MCFARLAND & WILSON LLP on behalf on her let the trademarks for bTunes become abandoned, allowing us to use that name.
Mobile Me adds Google Wave and Voice access to usurp Apple MobileMe.
Digital media software developer Babya today issued a bold challenge to rival Apple, by upgrading its Apple MobileMe rival, Babya Mobile Me to include quick access to Google Wave and Google Voice.
The move to introduce the second version of Mobile Me with Google Wave and Voice access is for added value and to usurp Apple’s own $99 MobileMe and they don’t give you access to third party services like Google Wave and Voice.
CEO of Babya, A.A. Fussy said “Apple and Google just don’t agree over Voice (but we like the sound of it)-not even on their $99 MobileMe, so we’ve added access to that and Google Wave to ours”
The new version of Mobile Me is now available to access at:

New logos designed to stop the media confusing our connected service suite “Mobile Me” with Apple’s $99 “Mobile Me”.
Babya today unveiled 2 logos:
-a chat icon with the words “mobile me” in the center of it
-a lightbulb with “works with mobile me” underneath it
These logos prevail any attempts by the media and the press by tarnishing the reputation of our free “Mobile Me” service by reporting the $99 “MobileMe” as Mobile Me.
Additionally, this announcement prevents Apple from introducing a “made for MobileMe” program.
Babya’s A.A. Fussy said, “Babya has ensured that they shouldn’t launch anything similar-we have great praise for Apple but do not like how the by the media and the press are confusing their “MobileMe” by calling it “Mobile Me”.”
