Babya’s  A.A. Fussy has released a statement regarding a  Babya  DVD ripping software that can be used to  rip commercial DVD’s:

We are not interested in entering the  DVD ripping software market-it’s obviously illegal to rip commercial DVD’s and the publication of such applications is considered in violatioin of  the United States  Digital Millennium Copyright Act or other laws.

Just look at what Rovi (formerly Macrovision) did with DVD Decryptor-it asked the dev to remove the program from websites,

So there is no substance to rumors about a possible Babya commercial DVD ripping application.

We hope to release Babya PhotoPro 2010  by early December

Babya today introduced bTunes 2 and bTunes Movie Store.

Babya’s bTunes is a media player with a compact and unobtrusive interface and version 2 includes several exciting new features.

New in bTunes 2 is the bMovie Movie Store which is a lightweight video player featuring a similar compact and unobtrusive interface.

At  Babya we are  going to be working on a free Babya app that is styled to look like a MP3 player (with a unique design) for release in early 2010.

Babya today announced the availability of a new version of BabyaTV-Babya’s easy to use but powerful audio/video capture application.

BabyaTV saves captured video to QuickTime format (.mov)-which is ideal for use in iMovie, iDVD, websites or Final Cut Studio.

The outputted files can even be used on Windows PC’s with QuickTime 7 or later and other applications.

Version 1.5 of BabyaTV focuses on Mac OS X 10.6 “Snow Leopard” and QuickTime X compatibility.
