Babya bTunes headed for Android-our thoughts

We are a bit confused as to whether Babya bTunes has a Android version and therefore we would like to share some thoughts about this.

Firstly, I’d like to state that a “bTunes” for Android  does exsist but it is not developed by us or related to our bTunes in anyway.

Further, I do not know lhow long they have used the bTunes name for-we started using it in early 2009.

But to us we feel it’s fine for them to  use our product’s name for a music player for Android  based devices because we don;t develop for Android, only Windows and Mac.

So I hope that clears any confusion about bTunes,

Babya bTunes-available on March 16

We’ll be releasing Babya bTunes on March 16-and have issued a new press release reflecting this:

Babya today announced that bTunes will be available to download from the 16th of March.

Babya bTunes is the new music player software from Babya, offering fast playback of audio files such as MP3 music and easy playlist creation and use.

bTunes features a compact interface, offering a full mode that displays all features and a compact mode that only shows the most important controls-for playing back music files.

 Babya’s A.A. Fussy said, “Babya bTunes replaces our previous bPlayer music player-it’s faster, has a great and compact user interface and is still free.”

Babya bTunes design decisions

When Babya was planning bTunes, I had to make some design decisions-so here they are:

-MP3 encoding:no, wouldn’t want to have applications pay patent royalties

-So MP3 playback only

-.NET instead of VB6

-No skin support (bTunes will be a lightweight app)

-Built in iGrab-now Babya MP3 Player Manager
